As of September 15, 2025, the Colorado State Archives Research Room will be closed on Mondays. Hours will remain 10am-4pm Mountain Time Tuesday through Friday.
Requests for records can be submitted at any time using the Online Request Form or by emailing our office at dpa_research@state.co.us. However staff will no longer be answering calls, pulling records, or actively processing record requests on Mondays. Colorado State Archives continues to offer in-person visits by appointment only. Requests for records must be made prior to an appointment being scheduled. Please view our Request a Record webpage for more details on how to request a record or an in-person appointment.
